Huge chunk of people under the age of 65 will benefit from the new health care law. President Obama signed the health care bill two months ago whose amendments
will bring smiles to millions of Americans. The law has a new provision according to which insurance companies cannot deny giving health policies to people with pre existing health problems.
The new provision will benefit almost 2.5 million people in America. Currently the insurance companies do not cover people who have health problems. People do not go for health insurance policies at an early age, on an average a 21 to 25 year old American thinks of buying a health insurance.
With the fast paced life the age at which diseases attack the human body is decreasing. Due to this a lot of people remain unexposed to the benefits of an insurance policy. They are refused coverage and have to sponsor their treatments themselves.
The government thought about the problems of people without health insurance policies and thus decided to ban companies if they refuse to cover people with pre existing health issues. The law will be come into action in 2014 and will provide relief to many who have been struggling with their finances to pay for their treatments.
There are a few more new provisions related to health insurance which have been introduced in the law, raising the coverage amount from the current 83% to 95% being one of them. The bill aims at changing the healthcare scenario in America and its provisions are strong enough to do so.
